The staff at the Grand Hotel Baglioni made may stay in Florence
pleasant and easy from the moment I arrived in Italy. I requested
a pick up from the airport and they arranged a private car for
my family, then when we were in the city they got us tickets for
the museums and galleries organised and help us with all our needs.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and although a bit smaller
than the more modern out of city hotels they had much more character.
The rooms were cleaned everyday, and the staff were honest as
were always accidentally leaving money and such lying around,
and it was recovered and put back on the dresser. I would recommend
the hotel and the city to anyone.

We booked a suite with view and were very pleased with the homey
feel of the hotel. There was plenty of room and the kids had a
separate room. The breakfast was pleasant and the staff were super
polite and helpful. The position of the hotel was fantastic, as
everything seemed to be five minutes walk away. It was definitely
worth ringing ahead and getting a room with a view.

We used the Grand Hotel Baglioni for a retreat
and team building experience for my small marketing company one
long weekend last January. Because it was low season the hotel
was very competitively priced and the whole package including
discount flights turned out to be far cheaper than what it would
have cost us in the UK. The helpful and polite staff dealt quickly
with any problems we had, and helped facilitate the more recreational
periods of the trip. The rooms were very tasteful and bathrooms
large, and the conference facilities were clearly able to deal
with far larger parties than my twenty-five staff. The food was
excellent and the view from the terrace was phenomenal, even if
too cold to dine on. I would recommend the hotel for tourists
and business purposes.
